Scott J. Steiner

Scott J. Steiner joined Hogan, Rossi & Liguori as a Senior Associate and head of the litigation department in 2019. Scott is an accomplished lawyer with over 35 years of experience practicing law. With a strong background in commercial, construction, and employment litigation and transactions, he has honed his legal skills to provide exceptional representation to his clients.

Scott’s expertise in mediation has also proven valuable to his clients, as he is able to effectively negotiate and resolve disputes through alternative dispute resolution methods. His dedication to his clients and attention to detail has earned him a reputation for excellence in the legal community.

Scott serves as general counsel to small businesses, many of whom have been his clients for more than a decade. Representative clients include general contractors, security firms, the estate of the founder of a seminal NYC rock and roll club, an Article 28 Diagnostic and Treatment center, dental practices and other small businesses. Scott also enjoys representing individuals in employment disputes including before the Merit Systems Protection Board and the NYC Office of Collective Bargaining.

When not practicing law, Scott enjoys hiking with his dog, biking, and spending time with his family. He believes that staying active and keeps him grounded and helps him better serve his clients.
